Inter Milan are now expecting a bid from Manchester United for goalkeeper Andre Onana in the next hours. United have strong interest in Onana, with Erik ten Hag keen to reunite with the former Ajax man.
Inter Milan will look for around €50million to part ways with Onana. The Italian club signed the goalkeeper on a free transfer from Ajax in July of 2022, and are now looking to cash in.
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is now out of contract at the club but discussions remain open. Andre Onana is the number one target to replace the Spaniard.
According to sources close to us at the Transfer Room, Inter Milan are expecting an offer from Manchester United for Andre Onana. The offer is expected to arrive in the next couple of hours.
Onana is the number one target for Erik ten Hag to replace David De Gea. The former Cameroon international is available for around €50million. Inter Milan have already held talks with Manchester United over a transfer.
Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta last night revealed that his club are awaiting a formal offer from United.
“Manchester United should submit an official bid for André Onana in some days; then we will tell them our position and the player will do the same”
Should Manchester United agree a deal for Andre Onana, he will become the second signing of the summer for Manchester United. The club agreed a deal for Mason Mount earlier this week worth £55million.
David De Gea will hold talks with Manchester United later this week after his wedding, but for now he is no longer employed by the club.
