Roma are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Scott Mctominay this summer. Mctominay has been linked with a move away, and could reunite with his former manager Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho gave Mctominay his debut at United and looks to be interested in bringing the Scottish midfielder over to Italy. United do not have Mctominay up for sale, but would likely sell for the right offer.
The Red’s value Mctominay at around £40million.
Roma Want Mctominay:
As reported by Di Marzio, Roma are interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Scott Mctominay this summer. The Italian side are yet to make a formal offer.
Roma are showing interest but United have not put Mctominay on the market as of yet. The club are more open to selling Fred due to the age of Mctominay, but have identified replacements if he does leave.
One of those replacements is Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat. Amrabat would be available for £25million. The club enquired about the midfielder in January but were turned down at the time.
Jose Mourinho made no secret of his admiration for Mctominay at United, even making his own award for the midfielder. It should come as no surprise that he wants to bring the United man over to Rome.
Marcel Sabitzer, who spent last season on loan at United is also of interest to Roma. Sabitzer will be allowed to leave Bayern this summer for around €16million.
