In the midst of a busy transfer window for Liverpool with plenty of rumours about midfielders and defenders the Reds have been linked to a froward.

Brazilian international Malcom is reportedly appreciated by the club with the right winger currently in Russia playing for Zenit St Petersburg where he has been since 2019.

He joined Barcelona from French side Bordeaux in 2018 and he was regarded as a top talent but he only lasted one season at the Spanish giants before going to Russia.

The 26-year-old has just had a brilliant season for Zenit as he played 33 games in all competitions and scored 26 goals showing he is a goalscoring winger which is why it makes sense that Liverpool like his profile.

However any move for him right now would come as a surprise with Liverpool prioritising a defensive midfielder and another centre back in the remainder of this transfer window.

Dominik Szoboszlai is set to be cover for Mohammed Salah at right wing in this upcoming campaign with Diogo Jota also ok to play there.

Paris Saint-Germain were close to signing Malcom in January and the Brazilian would like the French giants to come back in for him but nothing has developed so far with a lot riding on if Kylian Mbappe leaves.

Saudi Arabia also have an interest in him but they aren’t set to have Liverpool as competitors for his signature even though they like the attacker.
