Nice are still prepared to sell Liverpool target Khephren Thuram this summer despite reports on Tuesday suggesting he would stay with the Ligue 1 club for another year.

The 22-year-old is one of Europe’s hottest prospects and was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool earlier in the transfer window.

After the signings of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai however, interest from the Anfield hierarchy appears to have cooled in the French international.

On Tuesday, it was claimed that Thuram would not push for a move as he wants to focus on securing a place in Didier Deschamps’ France squad for Euro 2024.

According to Foot Mercato however, Nice are ‘ready to listen to offers of €50million’ for the talented midfielder. The French outlet suggests however that despite the player being admired across Europe, the Ligue 1 club are yet to receive an offer that matches their expectations.

Bayern Munich are also named as a potential suitor for Thuram with the manager of the Bundesliga club, Thomas Tuchel, reported as being ‘a big fan’.

After the signing of Szoboszlai, it seems doubtful that Liverpool will make a move for Thuram without midfield outgoings. A number six could be targeted however with Romeo Lavia of Southampton seemingly high on the agenda at Anfield.
