Arsenal fans are beginning to get a bit worried over the length of time it’s taking to complete the Declan Rice deal, but they may be able to relax soon. Rice will say goodbye to West Ham United this week, and could be announced by Arsenal this weekend.

It will be a British transfer record for Rice at around £105million. Arsenal beat Manchester City to the signing of the player, who has already done his medical at the club. The only thing left is for paperwork to be signed and the official announcement to be made.

There is no doubt that Declan Rice will be an Arsenal player.

Declan Rice To Arsenal Is A Done Deal:

Declan Rice

As reported by EXWhuEmployee, Declan Rice is expected to be announced by Arsenal this weekend. The announcement will come after a goodbye video from Rice to West Ham.

There is no worries about the deal collapsing for either Rice or Jurrien Timber despite some suggestions the deals had fallen apart. Both are done, and are now only needing the official announcements.

Arsenal won the race for Rice after presenting an offer Manchester City were not willing to match. Rice was intrigued by Mikel Arteta’s project, and the manager believes he could push the team towards the title this year.

In a deal the size of the Rice deal, the formalities take time. £105million is a huge sum of money, so the paperwork from both sides is checked that bit more than if it was a £35million deal. The medical is done however, so the player has done his side of the bargain.

The two clubs are now working fast to get the final bit of the deal done. Rice is prepared to release a video to the West Ham fans to say goodbye. That video could come today or tomorrow. An official announcement from Arsenal is anticipated on Friday or Saturday.

It’s a massive signing for Arsenal, and it is not long now until Declan Rice is unveiled as a Gunner.
