Andre Onana has today reported for Inter Milan training as Manchester United prepared a third bid for the goalkeeper. Inter anticipate the bid today but will consider keeping Onana if it does not arrive.
Inter are holding out for around €60million for Onana, but United are only willing to pay €55million. There is a feeling a compromise of €55million could be made between the clubs, with both wanting to get a deal done.
The Italian club need to sell Onana to raise funds for other targets.
Onana Arrives For Inter Training:
As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, Andre Onana has arrived for training with Inter Milan. The goalkeeper arrived at Apiano to be greeted by fans. Many asking him to stay at the club.
United are adamant on signing Onana after allowing David De Gea to leave on a free last week. Today is a crucial one for the deal as the clubs will enter into direct talks again. There was tension in the talks yesterday, but optimism remains.
Inter Milan need to sell Onana to raise funds for the Romelu Lukaku deal. Chelsea want £40million for the Belgian, but Inter have only offered £25million at the moment. United are standing firm in the market this summer and will not be taken to ransom for Onana.
Personal terms are already agreed with the player and should the clubs reach an agreement, a deal will move fast. Erik ten Hag wants Onana on the plane to USA next week to start United’s pre-season tour.
