The Declan Rice deal is not moving as quickly as Arsenal or West Ham would have liked, but it seems to be drawing close to the end now. All that remains in the deal is the paperwork, and Arsenal have informed West Ham it will be done soon.
Rice has already undergone a medical for Arsenal ahead of his £105million move from West Ham. The English midfielder is currently in Portugal training alongside the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Rafael Leao.
A deal is likely to be done by Saturday evening.
As reported by Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail, Arsenal have informed West Ham United they will send over the documents for the Declan Rice deal in the next 24 hours.
The Gunner’s beat out Manchester City to the signing of Rice. Pep Guardiola’s side made attempts but ultimately could not match Arsenal’s final bid. The bid comes in at £100million plus £5million in add-ons.
Rice was intrigued by Mikel Arteta’s project at Arsenal and was open to a move there since day one. Chelsea and Manchester United also had interest, but Arsenal have led the race for some time.
The deal is now entering it’s very final stages. Once the paperwork is sent over West Ham will analyse it. A deal will then be finalised, an announced after Rice does his in house media work for Arsenal.
Arsenal fans do not have to wait much longer to see Declan Rice become their player.
