As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Andre Onana will play for Manchester United. The final details and formalities are being looked over before a deal is agreed.

Erik ten Hag specifically asked for Andre Onana to replace David De Gea and he now looks to have gotten his wish. United will pay around €50+5million for Onana, which represents a good deal for both parties.

Inter Milan will use the funds from the Onana deal to pursue a new striker. Romelu Lukaku will not be re-joining the club, but the Italian side have set their sights on Folarin Balogun from Arsenal. Yann Sommer and Anatoliy Trubin will also be signed to replace Onana.

Manchester United will not be done after the signing of Onana, with a striker also expected to come in. Rasmus Hojlund is the most likely candidate but his £85million price tag is putting United off. Sofyan Amrabat could also come in if any midfielders leave, with Fred linked with a move away.

Onana will play for Manchester United. The deal being complete is now imminent.
