According to a new report from El Nacional via Manchester Evening News; “Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is ‘optimistic’ of signing Real Madrid defender David Alaba”
Alaba is still capable of competing at the highest level of football. However, United should be looking at younger defensive signings.
With the likes of Lisandro Martinez already growing at Old Trafford, the Red Devils should follow that model. Recruiting players with potential is a must for the long term success at the club.
Axel Disasi and Goncalo Inacio have both been linked to United. Centre back is further down the list of priorities this summer.
