Atalanta are said to want around €60million for Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund, but they may be willing to negotiate on that price. United are adamant on signing Hojlund, and are preparing a bid as things stand.

Harry Kane was the original number one target for United but Daniel Levy’s stubborn nature has forced United to look elsewhere. Hojlund fits the bill for what Erik ten Hag wants, and personal terms are already agreed between the club and player.

All that is left now is negotiations with Atalanta, which could go smoother than it was originally thought.

Atalanta Could Negotiate For Hojlund:

As reported by Gazetta In Italy, Atalanta could be willing to negotiate on their asking price for Rasmus Hojlund. United are likely to offer around €50million, but Atalanta currently want €60million.

The two clubs could meet in the middle, or United could put some add-ons on top of their €50million bid to try and make the deal happen. Hojlund is ready to move as soon as he gets the green light.

United have agreed personal terms with Hojlund. The player is desperate for the move to happen and both United and Atalanta are aware of this. PSG have reported interest in Hojlund but we understand their interest is not advanced as of now. United lead the race.

The Red’s will have a medical for their second summer signing Andre Onana today in a £43million move from Inter Milan. As soon as they is resolved full focus is anticipated to switch to Hojlund. The first bid is likely to come at the start of next week.

United want Hojlund. All that’s left now is to convince Atalanta top part ways for a reasonable fee.
