Liverpool will conclude the transfer of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho this week, according to renowned journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Henderson missed the Reds’ 4-2 win over Karlsruher SC after Liverpool agreed a deal in principle worth £12m plus add-ons with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq.

The 33-year-old, who has two years left on his remaining contract with Merseysiders has already agreed personal terms with the Saudi Pro League side. He is set to leave camp and undergo his medical in Croatia – where Al-Ettifaq are currently based as they prepare for the new season.
