Manchester United could be set to launch a bid for Sofyan Amrabat as early as this weekend. A new report in Italy has claimed the move is intensifying in the Fiorentina camp.
The Italian reports have always placed this move high up in the realms of possibility. However, elsewhere any close links between Amrabat and United are played down.
There is definitely an interest from both player and club to do a deal this summer. Although the links are concrete, it seems as though some outlets are over estimating the reality of the story.
The most intriguing report came out today from an Italian outlet named Corriere Fiorentino. The report claims that Fiorentina expect a bid from United this weekend – before Sunday.
Their report also claims that Fiorentina want to offload the player this weekend. Claims of the player being out of focus at the club due to the speculation have been made.
Their full report states; “The feeling now in Fiorentina’s offices is that Manchester United will launch a decisive bid for Sofyan Amrabat over the weekend! Fiorentina manager Vincenzo Italiano even wants Amrabat to join United by SUNDAY, as he’s unfocused.”
