Anthony Elanga’s move to Nottingham Forest has been agreed for a fee of around £15million, but Dean Henderson’s remains in limbo. Henderson wants to leave United, but the club are still in talks over an agreement.
United would prefer to get a fee for Dean Henderson as they look to improve their FFP situation, but Forest are trying to get a loan at the moment.
Discussions around a permanent transfer have however taken place and it could be a possibility if a loan cannot be agreed.
Forest Remain In Talks For Dean Henderson:
As reported by Paul Taylor of the Athletic, Manchester United remain in discussions with Nottingham Forest over the transfer of Dean Henderson.
Both permanent and loan conversations are currently taking place. United would look for around £20million to sell Henderson as they look to make back some of the £43million they spend on Andre Onana. The sales of Elanga for £15million and Henderson for £20million would see the club make profit.
Henderson is keen to leave United as he searches for first-team football. United are reportedly closing in on a deal for Zion Suzuki to play as number two next season, which shows they’re aware of Henderson’s desires.
Forest are trying to get a loan deal at the moment, but United are unlikely to budge. It’s time for Henderson and United to part ways, and if it’s not to Nottingham Forest United will look to sell him to another club.
Key hours when it comes to Dean Henderson to Forest, as talks are ongoing between the two clubs.
