Manchester United are now set to submit their official bid for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund next week. United are ready to push for Hojlund, and want to make sure of a deal before any PSG hijack.
PSG are in contact with the agents of Hojlund but the plan for the player seems to be clear. He wants Manchester United. Hojlund has informed his agents to give priority to United for the deal.
The bid will be submitted this week, with Atalanta wanting around €70million.
United To Submit Hojlund Bid:
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United will submit their official bid for Rasmus Hojlund this week. They want a deal wrapped up quickly.
United are adamant on signing a number nine this summer and Hojlund is the clubs prime target this summer. The Danish striker has agreed personal terms with United, and all that remains now is a club to club agreement.
It will be the first time United have signed a proper centre-forward under the age of 30 since Romelu Lukaku in 2017, if it goes through without any bumps.
Hojlund supported United as a boy and despite interest from PSG is only intent on a move to Old Trafford. Atalanta want €70million including add-ons. United’s opening bid is likely to be around €60million.
The upcoming week is key for Manchester United in their pursuit of Hojlund, but they are said to be keen on the possibility of signing him.
