Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is now set to join Nottingham Forest after the signing of Andre Onana. Henderson is not keen on being the second choice goalkeeper at the club.
United are hoping to sign a replacement in goal for Henderson for a cheap price. Zion Suzuki from Urawa Red’s is an option, with United being quoted £5million for his signature.
Henderson impressed at Nottingham Forest last season, and they are keen to bring him back now.
Henderson To Leave On Permanent Deal:
As reported by Simon Jones of Mail Sport, Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is now set to join Nottingham Forest. He will be the second United player to join after Anthony Elanga.
The move is reported to be permanent, but the fee has not been disclosed as of now. United are looking to make as much profit as possible this summer.
Andre Onana will be the number one next season, and work is still going into signing a number two for the squad. Zion Suzuki is the prime target as of now, but nothing is done.
Henderson was not keen on playing as the second keeper and feels now is the right time to move on for all parties. He is the second keeper to leave the club after David De Gea this summer.
