Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad have announced that they can now register players after they were briefly stopped from doing so due to FIFA.
Al-Nasr and Al-Shabab were also reportedly prohibited from registering players as a result of separate penalties issued against them by FIFA and the CAS Court.
However Al-Ittihad have shown that they now obtain a certificate of financial aptitude.
There was reports of the Fabinho transfer being in jeopardy due to complications so it would appear that those supposed complications are now over.
Liverpool have agreed on a £40 million fee for Fabinho to move to Saudi Arabia as they look to recoup the money they spent on him in 2018.
The Brazilian international was a integral figure in the Liverpool midfield that won everything under Jurgen Klopp however last season he was off the pace.
It looked like Liverpool were going to persist with him though as well as bringing in Romeo Lavia from Southampton but Al-Ittihad’s offer completely changed their plan.
A deal to bring Lavia is close but it remains to be seen who the other midfielder will be, if Liverpool decide another is necessary.
