Liverpool have won the race to sign 16-year old midfielder from Leicester City Trey Nyoni. The Red’s are now likely to sign Nyoni, who has appeared at international level for England’s youth teams.
It’s a massive coup for Liverpool as the Leicester midfielder is one of the most highly rated players at his age group currently. Liverpool have been working on the deal for a number of months and have finally won the race for the player.
A deal is likely to be concluded in the coming weeks.
Liverpool Win The Race For Trey Nyoni:
As reported by the Secret Scout, Liverpool have won the race for 16-year old midfielder Trey Nyoni from Leicester City.
The Red’s have beaten out competition from other English clubs to the midfielder, who is one of the best players at his current age group. Nyoni operates in the centre of midfield.
Liverpool will be trying to catch up with Manchester City who have been signing all the best players at youth level for the last number of months. Nyoni is someone City would have looked at, so to win the race is massive for Jurgen Klopp and the club.
Nyoni made 15 appearances for Leicester’s under 18’s last season, scoring one goal and delivering one assist in games in the u18 Premier League and the FA Youth Cup.
