Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele is of huge interest to PSG, and the winger has now asked the club for permission to negotiate a move to the French club.
PSG are looking to sign players that could replace Kylian Mbappe should he leave. Dembele is high on the list.
Dembele has a €50million release clause but it needs to be activated in the next 9 hours per La Liga rules.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Ousmane Dembele has asked Barcelona for permission to speak to PSG. A deal is still difficult due to the release clause.
Dembele has already said yes to PSG, and the French club have already agreed a five-year deal with the player’s agent. The deal is ready to be done if the two clubs can negotiate a deal in time.
The release clause makes it a tight push as Barcelona can sell Dembele for whatever fee they choose to after the next 9 hours are up. That is why Dembele has asked his club to negotiate a transfer.
PSG understand the deal is difficult but will try and come to the best solution with Barcelona over the next 9 hours. Dembele absolutely wants the move, but it’s not out of his hands.
A tense 9 hours ahead between Barcelona and PSG.
