Donny Van De Beek has been linked with a move away from Manchester United since the transfer window opened, and he might finally get the opportunity to leave.
Real Sociedad have been interested in Van De Beek for a number of weeks. They have now decided to make a formal approach to Manchester United to try and sign the Dutch midfielder.
The former Ajax man is open to leaving United to play first-team football.
Sociedad Approach United For Van De Beek:
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Real Sociedad have now made a formal approach to Manchester United for Donny Van De Beek.
United are looking to sell both Fred and Van De Beek to raise funds for Sofyan Amrabat, so it’s expected they will propose a permanent transfer to Sociedad.
The Red’s are likely to value Van De Beek at around €15million. Sociedad have already spoken to the player and his team about a move. It’s now time for them to try and do a deal with United.
Any deal will depend on the conditions United ask for in the deal. Both clubs will enter into discussions over the next few days to see if any sort of deal can be agreed.
Nothing done as of yet, but Real Sociedad are now taking the first vital steps to signing Donny Van De Beek.
