Erik Ten Hag wants to keep Harry Maguire at Manchester United this season, following conversations recently held. The English centre back has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
Maguire has recently had the captaincy of the club taken off him. It already seems like that has had a positive effect on the player – his performances in pre season have shown some improvement.
In no way is that saying Maguire will play a big part this season but he could be a useful asset. The plan had reportedly been for the English international to leave United, however that may have changed.

A new report from Alex Crook of TalkSport via GiveMeSport says that Ten Hag wants to keep the player. The report from the journalist says;
“Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag wants to keep Harry Maguire at Old Trafford after holding a key conversation behind the scenes at Old Trafford.”
It’s yet to be seen whether Maguire will stay or go this summer. The Red Devils wants a decent fee for the player with the likes of West Ham and Everton interested.
