Manchester United have reportedly made contact over the possibility of signing Jean-Clair Todibo. The French centre back is seen as the clubs priority if Harry Maguire is to leave this summer.
Currently of OGC Nice, Todibo would be a great addition to Erik Ten Hag’s evolving squad. With more departures expected soon, the ability to make a signing at the back is becoming more likely.
Whilst the next target is a central midfielder, centre back is also on Ten Hag’s list in this window. Maguire alongside Eric Bailly are set to be the central defenders to depart if the right offers arrive.
Manchester United ‘Make Contact’ Over Jean-Clair Todibo Signing
Fabrizio Romano has been speaking about the links between Todibo and United this evening. The journalist states that contact has already been made.
In full, Romano said; “Man Utd are keeping an eye on the situation of Jean-Clair Todibo, and they had contacts. They think Todibo could be one of the PRIORITY options in case Maguire leaves.”
Replacing Maguire with Todibo would be a great move. The former Barcelona man is a top talent and would be a long term signing for the Red Devils.
