Manchester United are now said to be considering four defenders to sign to replace the outgoing Harry Maguire. Maguire is closing in on an exit from an Old Trafford – the English international is set to join West Ham United.
United will sign a centre back as soon as Maguire’s exit is confirmed. A central defender has been on the list all summer and now the Red Devils can begin to look at their options.
United are now said to be considering four defensive targets before the window closes. The options include a number of players highly sought after by Erik Ten Hag.
Manchester United Considering Defenders To Replace Harry Maguire
United are now looking for their successor to the outgoing Maguire. According to Simon Jones of Mail Sport the club have a shortlist of four options.
These are said to be; “Bayer Leverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba, Jean Clair Todibo of Nice, Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard, and Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi are contenders to replace Harry Maguire.”
Todibo and Pavard stand out as the top options. Both of the Frenchmen have been named as the most likely candidates to be signed this summer.
