The Premier League is finally back and in the opening game of the 2023/24 season we see newly promoted Burnley welcome treble winners Manchester City to Turf Moor.
They both faced each other last campaign in the FA Cup and Manchester City came out on top with a 6-0 victory.
Burnley manager Vincent Kompany will be hoping for not a repeat of that but instead a massive shock result against his former side.
James Trafford will likely make his debut for Burnley against his old side whilst forward Michael Obafemi is out with a hamstring injury.
New Manchester City signing Josko Gvardiol is in line to start as Ruben Dias has not travelled due to an injury.
Kevin De Bruyne was only on the bench against Arsenal in the Community Shield so it is touch and go to see if he will start.
Where to watch:
The game will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event or Sky Sports Premier League for viewers in the UK whilst they can also stream the game on Sky Go.
Viewers in Australia can watch and stream it on Optus Sport.
Fans in USA can watch the game on USA Network and they can live stream it on Fubo.
Supports in India can watch it on Star Sports.
