Chelsea are now on the brink of completing the signing of Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo. Liverpool are set to miss out as Chelsea will beat their £110million bid.
The midfielder has made it clear to Liverpool in the last day that his preference is Chelsea. The Blue’s have pushed over the last 24 hours, and are now set to seal the deal.
A deal is now expected to be agreed between Chelsea and Brighton.
As reported by the Telegraph, Chelsea are now on the brink of signing Moises Caicedo for a fee of around £115million.
The deal is now close to being agreed. Chelsea have been in talks with Brighton since yesterday to try and get the deal over the line. The belief is now they will.
Caicedo wants to join Chelsea and he has made that clear to Liverpool and Brighton. Chelsea will pay £115million to complete the transfer. Liverpool are unlikely to bid again.
It is the second time Chelsea have broken the British transfer record this season. A deal for Romeo Lavia is also said to be close for an overall fee of £55million.
Deal now very close. Chelsea feel they can close it.
