Liverpool will have to quickly get active in the market after missing out on Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, and Ibrahim Sangare could be their man.
A defensive midfielder is evidently something the club need after yesterdays game against Chelsea, and Sangare is one of the best available on today’s market.
Liverpool could also get a deal done for a very reasonable fee.
As reported by Rik Elfrink, Liverpool are interested in the signing of Ibrahim Sangare from PSV Eindhoven this summer.
The relationship between Liverpool and PSV is already established after the transfer of Cody Gakpo, and Liverpool could be set to take advantage of that.
Bayern Munich are also interested in the midfielder, who has a release clause of just £32million. Sangare would be the perfect defensive minded player to slot into the Liverpool midfield.
Other options at the moment include Fulham’s Joao Palhinha and Cheick Doucoure from Crystal Palace. It’s likely Liverpool could still sign two defenders after missing out on Caicedo and Lavia.
Sangare is on the list, and he’s a name to watch.
