Bayer Leverkusen centre half Piero Hincapie reportedly has interest from two unnamed Premier League clubs with the transfer window shutting soon.
The Ecuadorian international has recently signed a new contract with the German club until 2027 but he is still open to a move to the Premier League.
He had an impressive season last campaign as he played 43 games in all competitions as Bayer Leverkusen played in the Champions League and then got to the semi-finals of the Europa League.
As well as this he was a starting centre-back in the 2022 World Cup for Ecuador but at the moment there is no official offers for him.
The left-footed centre-back is a key man for Xavi Alonso but Liverpool are interested in bringing in a defender this summer.
Due to Jurgen Klopp moving to a system which needs a left-sided central defender it makes sense that the Reds are one of the sides that are interested.
However Liverpool’s priority at the moment is a midfielder after they missed out on Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia to Chelsea so they look set to be content in using Andy Robertson on the left side of the defence.
One of the other sides who may be interested in Hincapie is Arsenal after they lost new signing Jurrien Timber for potentially the whole season due to a ACL injury.
