Liverpool are set to be given a slight financial boost as Porto midfielder Marko Grujic is reportedly set to leave the club.
Grujic. 27, has been at the Portuguese club permanently since 2021 after he spent a year on loan in 2020 but he is now set to move on from the club.
The Serbian international supposedly has interest from some Italian clubs with AC Milan being one of them and they have been looking at him for a year.
Porto can afford to sell the midfielder due to their new signing Alan Varela so a departure is very much on the cards.
Liverpool sold him a couple of years ago for a transfer worth around £10.5 million and they also added a clause in the deal.
That clause being a 10% sell-on clause which could provide the Reds with an unexpected small financial boost this summer.
Grujic was Jurgen Klopp’s first signing at Liverpool but he never really cemented a place in the first-team squad.
He played 16 games in all competitions scoring one goal against Lincoln City in the League Cup but he was probably most renowned for the ridiculous header he scored in a pre-season match against Barcelona at Wembley.
