Liverpool and Manchester United could be prepared to do battle over Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

Both of the Premier League giants continue to be linked with the 21-year-old who appears to be out of favour under Thomas Tuchel.

Initially, the Bundesliga club ruled out the sale of the Dutchman this summer but that stance may have changed.

According to Sky Sports News reporter Darmesh Sheth (via Football Daily), Bayern are ‘no longer ruling out’ the sale of Gravenberch this summer.

Jurgen Klopp and his coaching team appear to be fans of the former Ajax man and it would not be a surprise if the Anfield hierarchy was to make a move before the window closes.

As he only turned 21 this year, Gravenberch would also not take up one of the valuable non-homegrown spots.

The Reds are unlikely to have it all their own way however in the hunt for the talented youngster with rivals United also strongly rumoured to be in the market for another midfielder this summer.
