Harry Maguire’s move to West Ham fell through in strange circumstances last week, but the English defender could still leave United this summer.
Maguire missed United’s last game against Spurs through injury, but is expected to be back in the squad to face Nottingham Forest this weekend.
There is still a chance Maguire could leave the club before the window closes.
As reported by Mike Keegan, Harry Maguire’s situation could be one to keep an eye on before the end of the transfer window. The story could still take a twist.
Speaking on the situation, Keegan had the following to say, “Keep your eyes on Maguire – I can see a further twist on that situation before the window closes.”
West Ham are not the only club who are interested in Maguire, but they are the only club to make an offer. United’s stance is clear, £30million and he can be sold.
Everton have been interested in the past and there is a chance late in the window they may revisit that. Maguire would prefer to stay at United, but he must worry for his England place if he does.
Harry Maguire’s future remains unsolved as of now.
