Liverpool’s search for midfield reinforcements ahead of the transfer window closing next week continues with a report claiming that they have had an offer of €48million rejected by Bayern Munich for Ryan Gravenberch.

It has been a summer of huge change in respect of Jurgen Klopp’s midfield options with a number of senior players having left the club.

Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai were brought in nice and early, and prior to the start of the pre-season matches but Reds fans had to wait until last week for another incoming.

Wataru Endo’s transfer from VfB Stuttgart looks like smart business from the Anfield hierarchy but there is an expectation that more is needed before the window slams shut.

Dutch international Gravenberch has been linked with a move to Liverpool all summer but more recently has been reported as a player that Manchester United are interested in.

According to TUTTOmercartoWEB (via Sport Witness), Liverpool have already made their move for the 21-year-old by registering a bid of €48million.

The outlet claims however that Bundesliga giants, Bayern, have rejected the offer and are desperate to keep hold of the former Ajax youngster despite the player’s wishes to depart.
