Bayern Munich is currently in talks to sign Scott McTominay from Manchester United. The German club has identified McTominay as their top choice for the ‘number six’ position.
McTominay has been allowed to leave Old Trafford throughout the summer transfer window, but a deal with West Ham fell through, resulting in him staying at United. However, United is still open to selling McTominay, and Bayern Munich has expressed interest in him, considering him their top target for the position.
The potential sale of McTominay could generate approximately £30 million for United, which could be crucial for their pursuit of a new midfielder, such as Leon Goretzka from Bayern Munich. There is a possibility of a swap deal between the two clubs involving Goretzka and McTominay.Â

According to Christian Falk’s report, Bayern Munich prefers McTominay over any other potential target. The directors at Bayern are currently working on a deal with United and the player’s agent.Â
