Two Manchester United players are set to stay at the club for now despite interest from West Ham and Bayern Munich.
The Red Devils are still looking to get players both in and out of the club before the deadline on Friday night.
It looks like there will be at least one more signing before that but in terms of outgoings, there is not as much movement.
A report by ESPN reporter Rob Dawson has said that both Harry Maguire and Scott Mctominay will stay at the club for this summer, at least.
It looked clear earlier in the summer that Maguire would leave for West Ham United after reports stated that they made a £30million offer for the defender. However, there were complications in the deal and it meant that The Hammers pulled out of the transfer despite David Moyes’ interest.
This also seemed to put a stop to United’s ambitions of signing a central defender.
It has been assumed for a few weeks now that the England international would stay but Mctominay is another story, with the interest shown by German champions Bayern Munich.
It looked like it would be a great move for the Scotsman but that does not look likely to materialise either, even with the signing of Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat looking more and more likely.
Both Mctominay and the Moroccan would have to fight for their place as the second defensive midfielder with Casemiro, if it does happen.
