Al-Ittihad are preparing an offer of £200million for Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah according to a report.
The Egyptian has been linked with a move to the Saudi club over recent weeks but Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp have remained defiant that he is not for sale.
That does not appear to have deterred them however and they even had a reported bid of £150million turned down for Liverpool’s talisman on Friday.
According to Ian Doyle, that may not be the end of Al-Ittihad’s interest with them now preparing a new offer of £200million for the 31-year-old.
Mohamed Salah Transfer Links – Our Verdict
Losing Salah on the day that the transfer window closes would seem a non starter with such limited time to find a replacement.
The size of the reported next offer however is now so substantial that there must be some at Anfield who think it deserves due consideration.
It could be a nervous few days for Reds fans with the Saudi window not due to close until the 20th of September (as per FIFA’s website).
