Saudi League side Al Ettifaq are now expected to attempt a late loan move for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho. This comes after a falling out between Sancho and Erik ten Hag this past week over training performances.
It’s currently unknown whether United wish to sell Sancho after his outburst on social media, but Al Ettifaq are interested. A late loan move in the coming hours is expected.
There could be a potential buy option in the move.
Al Ettifaq In For Sancho:
As reported by James Benge of CBS Sports, Steven Gerrard’s Al Ettifaq side are likely to launch a loan bid for Jadon Sancho in the coming hours.
The Saudi window closes tonight so they are facing a race against time. A standard loan is likely to be put on the table, although Ettifaq would prefer a loan with option to buy.
Manchester United have not yet made it clear whether they plan to sanction Jadon Sancho following his outburst. The club were open to listening to offers in the summer, but with no time to sign a replacement they are not expected to sell.
Sancho himself made clear in his statement that he wanted to play for Manchester United. Face to face talks were expected between ten Hag and Sancho midweek.
Al Ettifaq expected to try for Sancho, but they’re not likely to suceed.
