Manchester United are unfortunately without three key men for tomorrow’s game against Brighton. Sofyan Amrabat will miss the clash, as well as Mason Mount and Raphael Varane. All three players are injured.

Jadon Sancho will also miss the game due to discipline issues. Antony is sorting out a case in Brazil and will not be available for selection.

The Red’s are currently enduring an availability crisis, with tomorrow a huge game in regards to their season.

Injury Crisis Continues For United:

Mason Mount IMAGO / Sebastian Frej

Erik ten Hag today spoke about standards in his press conference, and he is showing exactly that with his omission of Jadon Sancho. Considering the club’s right wing situation it would have been easy to allow Sancho to remain in the squad, but the manager chose not to.

Facundo Pellistri may not get a chance to start for United. Bruno Fernandes could also start on the right, but is expected to be needed in midfield due to the fact Sofyan Amrabat is injured.

Amrabat returned from international duty with Morocco with a slight injury. There is a chance he is available for the Bayern Munich game midweek.

Mason Mount remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, but Ten Hag confessed Raphael Varane and the midfielder are in a good place.

United need a win tomorrow to kick start their season, but unfortunately standing in their way is a brilliant Brighton side. United’s last defeat at Old Trafford came in the second game of last season against Brighton. They will be hoping to avoid a repeat of that tomorrow.
