Manchester United have joined the race to sign Fluminense midfielder Andre Trindade. The Brazilian has been a target for Liverpool in recent months, and United have now thrown their name into the hat to sign him. Fulham are also interested in Andre.

Andre was part of the Fluminense team that won the Copa Libertadores last week, and there has been major speculation that he will leave the club in January. For the last number of months, Liverpool have looked like being favorites, but things are beginning to change on that front.

Manchester United are looking into possibly signing Andre as a replacement for Casemiro. There are rumblings that the former Real Madrid man could leave United this summer or even in January.

United have approached due to this. Jacque Talbot reported the news exclusively earlier today, stating that United had approached to sign the player. No official offer has been placed as of yet though.

Andre’s options remain open. Fulham are in talks to sign him. Liverpool are out for the moment but there are suggestions they could come back in.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is set to give United a boost in the coming weeks with his minority takeover, and that could help the club in January. A new sporting team will be working behind the scenes, and Andre could be a possibility due to that.

An open race for now, but make no mistake about it, Andre Trindade is a wanted man this January.
