Aaron Ramsey is now closing in on a return to boyhood club Cardiff City, say a number of reports. The current Wales captain is set to return to the Bluebirds 15 years after leaving to join Arsenal.
Ramsey departed Arsenal for Juventus where he spent a few years of his career. The 32 year old spent last season at French side OGC Nice but is now set to return to Cardiff in this window.
There have been a number of reports over the last few days adding to the speculation of his future. An offer from Saudi Arabia was named as an option on the table by Phil Cadden.
Aaron Ramsey Closing In On Cardiff City Return
It seems as though Ramsey does have his heart set on a return to his boyhood side. The player has stressed that he wants to be close to his family from the duration of next season.
There does seem to be a hold up with the deal – that being with OGC Nice. Reportedly, there are a few things to ‘iron out’ before his return to the Welsh capital can be finalised.
However, the feeling at this moment is that Ramsey will likely sign for the Bluebirds this summer. Ramsey is said to now be ‘closing in’ on a deal to join Cardiff City this summer.
The Welsh captain will join a number of new faces who will be playing under new Bluebirds boss Erol Bulut next season.
