Aston Villa are now set to enter the race to sign Manchester United centre back Harry Maguire. The news emerges following the injury sustained by Tyrone Mings.
Mings has seemingly suffered a bad injury during Villa’s first game of the season, a 5-1 defeat away at Newcastle United. Unai Emery’s side is now set to enter the race to sign the former United captain.
The news comes as West Ham are stalling with their deal to sign Maguire. Apparently, reports state that personal terms are not fully agreed ahead of a move.

Following the injury suffered by Mings, as well as West Ham’s failure to close the deal for the centre back, Villa are looking to get involved. Villa were linked to Maguire in January.
The report comes exclusively from Transfers Dot Com, they report that Villa have entered the race to sign the centre back. United accepted the Hammers bid of £30million.
