Borussia Dortmund never wanted to let Jadon Sancho go in the first place, and they may have a chance to bring back the English winger. Dortmund are interested in a move for Sancho, and United are prepared to let him go.
Sancho has been training away from the first-team since a fall out with Erik ten Hag after the Arsenal on the 3rd of September. As this moment in time, there are no plans for him to re-join the squad.
Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has remained in contact with Sancho, and a move in January is increasingly possible.
Dortmund Want Sancho:
This news comes from Rob Dawson of ESPN. Sancho is now effectively up for sale at Manchester United. The club will welcome offers in the January window.
In terms of the nature of a deal, a loan with either an option or obligation is most likely. The feeling is, United are prepared to sell Sancho for a fee of £30million.
Sancho never truly hit the heights that were laid out for him upon joining United. The winger showed flashes of brilliance, but never enough to warrant a regular starting spot. The feeling is that the move suits all parties at this stage.
Erik ten Hag would allow Sancho to re-join the squad if he apologises, but the word is that the player believes he will outlast the manager. There is no pressure on Erik ten Hag’s job as of yet.
A way out for Sancho, and a fair solution for all involved.
