Bundesliga runners-up Borussia Dortmund have set their sights on a young Manchester United midfielder. Jude Bellingham is set to join Real Madrid imminently which has prompted Dortmund to look at new options.
Dortmund are well known for signing young talent and turning them into superstars. The German club have now outlined Hannibal as one of their Bellingham replacements.
The new report says that Dortmund will target Hannibal if Bellingham joins Madrid. However it has been made very clear that the English midfielder is on his way to the Spanish club.
Hannibal spent last season on loan at championship side Birmingham City. The young Tunisian international has impressed doing his lawn spell and there were rumors that he would be given a chance at United next season.
However Erik ten Hag is still yet to assess the youngster and may do so in preseason. The Dutchman wants to sign new midfielders this summer which could open the door for Hannibal’s exit.
The report from HL-1 TV does not disclose whether it would be loan signing or a permanent signing that Dortmund would target.
