Dean Henderson is approaching the end of his time at Manchester United. The goalkeeper is closing in on a permanent exit from Old Trafford this summer according to a new report.

With Andre Onana being the number one goalkeeper target following the departure of David De Gea – Henderson wants first team football. The English shot stopper would be unlikely to receive many first team minutes ahead of the Inter Milan man.

Henderson spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest in the Premier League last season. Forest are now set to close in on the permanent signing of the United man this summer, say new reports.

With the expected imminent signing of Onana from Inter, Henderson is edging closer to his departure from the club. United want around £30million to part ways with the player. Forest are open to paying the fee as they want the keeper as their first choice.

According to a new report this evening from The Telegraph, “Dean Henderson is closing in on a permanent move to Nottingham Forest.”

United will be able to use the money from the Henderson deal to lower their outgoing fee for Onana. Offloading players has always been a problem for the Red Devils however, it looks like times are changing.
