Dean Henderson could stay at Manchester United this summer despite strong links over a move to other clubs. Henderson would stay to be the second choice goalkeeper at Old Trafford after the Red Devils signed Andre Onana this summer.
Henderson wants to leave United to become a number one at another Premier League side. Nottingham Forest have been heavily linked to the shot stopper but have recently signed a new keeper.
The English goalkeeper may now have no choice but to stay at United this summer. The club have been handed a set back with Tom Heaton now set to be out with an injury for some weeks.
Dean Henderson Could Stay At Manchester United
Henderson could now be set to become United’s number two for the season. Henderson is too good to be a number two – no one is doubting that.
However, according to Samuel Luckhurst, United could now hold on to their goalkeeper. He reports; “Dean Henderson could stay at Man United after Tom Heaton sustained a calf injury in training.”
United were looking to cash in on the keeper this summer. The money from the sale was to be used to fund new targets.
