Eintracht Frankfurt have expressed interest in Liverpool midfielder Wataru Endo, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The 32-year-old Japanese international could leave Anfield this summer, with several Bundesliga clubs monitoring his situation.
Frankfurt have already enquired about Endo, but he is just one of several options being considered by the club.

While his vast experience – including over 100 Bundesliga appearances for VfB Stuttgart and a season in the Premier League with Liverpool – makes him an attractive target, he is not currently Frankfurt’s top priority.
A major obstacle for the Eagles is the financial package required to sign Endo, which is considered too expensive at this stage.
Plettenberg posted on X: “Eintracht Frankfurt have enquired about Wataru #Endo.
“The 32y/o midfielder is a possible candidate for #SGE in the summer, but other names are also being considered. Endo is allowed to leave Liverpool, as reported.

“Currently, the topic is not a priority for Eintracht, partly because the overall package is still too expensive. Frankfurt are informed about the situation, as per @BILD_Eintracht and confirmed. #LFC”
Endo has found himself surplus to requirements at Liverpool this season, as Arne Slot’s side nears the Premier League title. The midfielder has made just 14 appearances in the league under Slot, often coming off the bench
