Erik Ten Hag is said to be growing more and more frustrated that he has to keep Harry Maguire at Manchester United. The news comes as the centre back’s move to West Ham collapsed recently.
It’s been made clear time after time that Maguire holds no place in United’s squad this season. Ten Hag has been keen to sign a new defender all summer.
From Kim Min-Jae to Benjamin Pavard, the Dutchman wants a new centre back. However, that is increasingly seeming unlikely and is frustrating the manager.
Erik Ten Hag ‘Frustrated’ Harry Maguire Stays at Manchester United
According to a newly published report by Jacque Talbot, Ten Hag is now growing frustrated that the defender remains at the club. The report says;
“Erik ten Hag is frustrated that he has to keep Harry Maguire – he would rather have someone like Kim Min-jae or Benjamin Pavard.”
Talbot continues with; “Despite recent reports, Erik ten Hag does NOT want Harry Maguire. He doesn’t fit his philosophy.”
This situation could get ugly. A resolve needs to be found as soon as possible.
