Erik Ten Hag has reportedly made his decision on the future of Jadon Sancho at Manchester United. The English forward has failed to find consistency since his move from Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho arrived at Old Trafford as one of the biggest prospects in Europe. The forward was incredible in Germany and cost United around £80million to bring the player to the club. However, Sancho has failed to really hit the heights that were expected.
Some reports had suggested that Sancho would be allowed to leave this summer. The situation seems to have changed with Ten Hag reportedly now making his decision on the elite talent.
Erik Ten Hag Makes Jadon Sancho decision
The winger now will only be allowed to leave Old Trafford this summer if a major offer arrives. Jacque Talbot has reported that Ten Hag will give Sancho one more season to prove his value at the club – this being the 2023/24 campaign.
The report says; “Erik ten Hag’s current intention is to give Jadon Sancho one more season at Manchester United to impress. If a huge offer comes in then he might leave but given his wages that is very unlikely.”
Sancho will shine at United if he works hard enough to reach his potential. Players do not get multiple chances to prove themselves at a club with a demanding and eager manager.
