A trip to St James’ Park is likely to offer Liverpool their toughest test yet however meaning the Reds will need to be as close to full strength as possible.

Klopp will be hoping that the harsh red card awarded to Alexis Mac Allister in the 3-1 win over Bournemouth on Saturday will be overturned so he is available for the trip to the North East.

There were also injury concerns off of the back of the match against the Cherries after Trent Alexander-Arnold and Luis Diaz limped off.

It appears however that the issues were only minor in nature with both players pictured in the training photos and they were also joined by youngster Trent Kone-Doherty who has impressed for the Academy.

Thiago Alcantara, Ibrahima Konate, Stefan Bajcetic, and Mac Allister were not pictured. There is nothing to suggest any of the players have injury concerns however and it is quite possible that they were doing individually tailored sessions away from the cameras.
