Jurgen Klopp named a 27-man travelling squad as Liverpool departed for their pre-season tour of Singapore on Thursday.
After their training camp in Germany, Liverpool will now look to step up their preparations for the new season which is just over two weeks away.
The Reds will face Leicester City on Sunday before taking on Bayern Munich on Wednesday with both games taking place in the Singapore National Stadium.
Jordan Henderson’s move to Al-Ettifaq was confirmed by the club on Thursday morning and there were four other notable absentees as the squad started their journey.
Four Noticeable Liverpool Absentees
Fabinho
The deal to take the Brazilian to Al-Ittihad appears to be back on track and he could move to the Saudi club in the coming days.
Stefan Bajcetic
18-year-old midfielder Bajcetic will continue his rehabilitation from the adductor injury picked up at the end of last season and will remain in Liverpool to prepare for the new campaign.
Thiago Alcantara
Thiago is another midfielder who has stayed on Merseyside as he steps up his recovery after a hip operation.
Conor Bradley
Perhaps the most surprising omission from the travelling squad was Northern Ireland international Bradley. After signing a new contract on Wednesday, there are no reports of an injury so could this mean he is on the verge of a new loan deal?
