Nice midfielder and Liverpool target Khephren Thuram could stay at the Ligue 1 club this summer.
That’s according to L’Equipe who claims that the 22-year-old could be set to stay with the French club for another season.
The outlet suggests that the midfielder is ‘unlikely to push for a move’ as he tries to earn a place in Didier Deschamps’ France Euro 2024 squad.
Kephren Thuram Liverpool Transfer Links
Liverpool had been strongly linked with a move for Thuram earlier in the transfer window but interest has appeared to cool of late.
Jurgen Klopp has already bolstered his midfield this summer with the acquisitions of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai and it remains to be seen as to whether there will be further additions although Romeo Lavia of Southampton has been strongly linked.
L’Equipe does not completely rule out a transfer for Thuram this summer but states it would take ‘a lucrative offer’ as neither the club nor the player is prioritising a move.
