A top side in Ligue 1 are now said to be targeting a move for a Manchester United defender this summer. Ligue 1’s Rennes are looking at taking one of United’s squad players from Old Trafford.
The French side have an interest in United’s Victor Lindelof. The Swede came off the bench during United’s opening fixture at home to Wolves at half time.
Nicknamed the ‘Iceman’, Lindelof is a solid squad player for United and truly proved his worth last season. The player has had some top performances and wants to stay at Old Trafford.
Ligue 1 Side Targeting Manchester United Defender
According to a new report from Fabrice Hawkins, Rennes are looking at Lindelof. He reports;
“Rennes have looked at Manchester United defender Victor Lindelöf. The Swede is well placed in their shortlist in the event of Arthur Theate’s departure. The file remains complex as Lindelöf enjoys Manchester.”
Fabrizio Romano has also quickly followed this up by saying; “Victor Lindelof, not keen on Rennes as next destination — and Erik ten Hag wants him to stay”
