Liverpool may only be starting the 23/24 Premier League campaign this weekend, and with the third shirt for the season still yet to be announced. However, the kit colours for the 24/25 campaign have now been leaked online.
Liverpool has rolled it back the years with this season’s two released kits, with the home shirt a nod back to Liverpool’s 1965 FA Cup triumph. The away shirt pays homage to the 95-96 season and it appears that next year’s instalments of kits again will pay homage to the clubs’ illustrious history.
The process of designing and manufacturing football shirts is a long one, so it is no surprise next year’s colours have emerged before this season has even started, Liverpool will have already agreed on preliminary designs for the shirts, including colours.
The ever-reliable @FumlerRawk on Twitter and cited by @FootyHeadlines have released the colours for the reds home and away shirts for the 2024/25 campaign.
According to the page, Liverpool will have the same colour scheme that was used in 2019/20 for the home shirt, compromising ‘Gym Red’ for the majority of the shirt with white and chrome yellow for accents on the shirt such as badge and sponsors.
The away shirt is rumoured to be a night forest colour, which is a shade of black with anthracite grey, sail which is better known as an off-white colour and washed teal, the design is likely to feature a pattern which is yet to be revealed and comparisons to the 2019/20 third shirt have already been made.
No details have been revealed about a potential third kit for the Reds, but details of this are likely to emerge once the third shirt for this season is revealed in the coming weeks.
